SIGA-CT1

SKU: SIGA-CT1

The SIGA-CT1 (Single Input) and SIGA-CT2 / SIGA-MCT2 (Dual Input) modules are intelligent, analog addressable devices designed to interface one or two Class B, normally-open dry contact Initiating Device Circuits (IDCs). They are typically used to integrate alarm, supervisory, or monitor-type equipment into the fire system.

Programmable Functionality & Operation

The specific operating mode of each module is defined by a “personality code” chosen by the installer. This code is transferred from the Signature loop controller to the module during initial system setup.

Once configured, the modules collect analog data from their connected initiating devices and convert it into digital signals. An onboard microprocessor then evaluates these signals to determine whether an alarm condition should be transmitted to the system.

Hardware Variations and Mounting

  • SIGA-CT1 & SIGA-CT2 (Standard Mount): These models mount directly to standard North American 1-gang electrical boxes, making them a practical choice for isolated deployments requiring a single device. They feature independent terminals for input/output (I/O) and data loop connections.

  • SIGA-MCT2 (Plug-in UIO Mount): Operating identically to the SIGA-CT2, this version belongs to the Universal Input/Output (UIO) component family. It offers enhanced modular flexibility and simplified installation by plugging into two- or six-module UIO motherboards. All field wiring connects directly to terminal blocks on the motherboard, and the entire assembly can be housed inside a compatible GE Security enclosure.
