The SIGA-CC1 / SIGA-MCC1 (Single Input) and SIGA-CC2 / SIGA-MCC2 (Dual Input) signal modules are intelligent, analog addressable components of EST’s Signature Series system. Upon receiving a command from the loop controller, these devices connect supervised Class B notification or telephone circuits to their corresponding power supplies.

Depending on the application, the power inputs can accommodate:

• 24 Vdc (Polarized): For driving audible and visual notification appliances (horns, strobes, etc.).

• 25 and 70 VRMS: For operating audio evacuation speakers.

• Firefighter Telephones: For emergency communication lines.

Programmable Functionality

The specific operating parameters of each module are dictated by a “personality code” designated by the installer. This operational profile is downloaded directly from the Signature loop controller to the module during initial system configuration.

Hardware Configuration and Mounting

• SIGA-CC1 & SIGA-CC2 (Standard Mount): These models are designed to mount onto standard North American 2-gang electrical boxes, providing an ideal solution for single-device deployments. They feature dedicated, independent terminal connections for both the data loop and input/output (I/O) lines.

• SIGA-MCC1 & SIGA-MCC2 (Plug-in UIO Mount): Operating identically to their standard counterparts, these versions belong to the Universal Input/Output (UIO) family. They maximize installation efficiency and modular flexibility by plugging directly into 2- or 6-module UIO motherboards. The motherboards can be wired to support distinct risers for each module or shared risers split across multiple modules. All field wiring secures directly to the motherboard terminal blocks, and the entire assembly can be housed within a compatible Edwards enclosure.
