The Control Relay Module and the Polarity Reversal Relay Module are intelligent, analog addressable components of the Signature Series system. To accommodate different installation needs, both modules are available as either plug-in components (UIO versions) or standard 1-gang wall-mount units.

SIGA-CR/MCR: Control Relay Module

The SIGA-CR/MCR features a Form “C” dry relay contact designed to manage external equipment such as dampers, fans, and door closers.

• Operation: Rather than providing direct supervision of the relay contact’s status, the module relies on its integrated microprocessor to ensure the relay maintains the correct ON/OFF state.

• Activation: When instructed by the loop controller, the module triggers its normally-open or normally-closed contacts to manipulate connected appliances.

SIGA-CRR/MCRR: Polarity Reversal Relay Module

The SIGA-CRR/MCRR uses a Form “C” dry relay contact specifically configured to power and trigger a network of SIGA-AB4G Audible Sounder Bases.

• Operation: Upon receiving a command from the Signature loop controller, the module reverses the polarity of its 24 Vdc output.

• Result: This polarity shift simultaneously activates all connected Sounder Bases on that specific data loop.
